Psalm 56:8-9

You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?
9 When I cry out to You,
Then my enemies will turn back;
This I know, because God is for me.

The following testimony is based on a true story:

A medical doctor,  (which is a most respected and admired profession in Burma), is struggling to help his only son who is suffering with Covid 19. According to the nature and available data of Covid 19, his son will not be categorised as a seriously ill patient as he is in his prime. He is not even allowed to purchase the basic medicine because the military has shut all the Chemists, except for supplying only military personnel and people of privilege. Since his sons’ situation is worsening and  after applying all of his experience and knowledge, he is certain that his son has to be urgently taken to Hospital to get full medical care, again most hospitals are overwhelmed with military and privileged covid patients, no space for the voiceless. His sons ability to breathe  has dropped dramatically, so the only way is to find an oxygen tank privately and use his medical expertise. The bad news is that the military has shut all the manufacturing facilities and oxygen suppliers, money cannot buy freely available God’s precious gift to human being, OXYGEN. While he is thinking about the oxygen crisis, the unanticipated became reality, the doctor, the father himself contracted Covid 19.

A dawn of hope emerged out of the blue that one of the Christian missions will provide an oxygen cylinder. This will be one last straw to both of them, regrettably, only one oxygen cylinder is available for both.   A smile and a powerful look appeared and shone on his sons face, the son went back to his own room and locked himself in the room with dignity. His father realised later it was the last smile he would see from his son, the room is filled with silence eventually. His heart was torn to pieces by knowing that he lost the privilege to save his only sons life.  The only available oxygen tank has become empty and he realised his only sons sacrifice for his father was in vain.  A well known, much loved, honourable father went home peacefully, within a week of his son’s funeral.
